Wicke has become one of the first manufacturers of wheels and castors, to demonstrate an environment management system within their company. This is achieved by using a sustainable ecologically sensitive production processes and business connections. This system is certificated following to the international standard ISO 1400 which is also confirmed by an independent accredited expert.

At the same time, our quality management system was certified again following to ISO 9001:2008, in the updated version.

During the 3 days running audit, both auditors were impressed by the realisation and consequent usage from our environment management system. You can clearly see (viewable and measureable) that the environmental protection strategy is already anchored in our business structures. They especially appreciated the management which was responsible for the realisation of this project. This is shown in our commitment to the system as well as the high significance in the company which shows our orientation for the future. The strategic environment policy was agreed and signed as business objectives by the Wicke management. This policy is binding for the complete Wicke group and their business partners.
